My First Kingfisher
It has already been two months since my second visit to Arjan Troost, this time at Garden Hide, where I had the opportunity to photograph a kingfisher for the first time. I’m incredibly happy with the result, especially since the portrait-oriented shot turned out so well. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to capture a kingfisher in flight, but that’s simply part of bird photography.
Besides the kingfisher, I also photographed my first greenfinch. Still, the black-and-white jay, the woodpecker with the water droplet, and the portrait of the kingfisher holding a fish are my favorite photos from this day. As always, I’ll be sharing both the good and the less successful photos from this day.
